In a white robe, the region shows its winter side with a very special charm. Mountains, valleys and towns are rough but gentle. People live in harmony with nature. But it never gets boring! There are over 100 km of cross-country trails available for skating and classic cross-country skiing. Alpine skiers, carvers and snowboarders can choose between 28 lifts, from baby lifts to gondolas. Winter sports and tobogganing fun become an experience for everyone on 35 km of slopes of all difficulty levels.
60 km of cleared winter hiking trails with a wonderful view of the Allgäu Alps or a hearty horse-drawn sleigh ride offer an unforgettable winter experience even for less sporty guests.

For active vacationers Oberstaufen offers a variety of interesting and varied sports, such as B. Sailing and surfing on the nearby Alpsee, paragliding, canyoning, cave tours or thrills on the high wire course.
